How will this affect us in Virginia?

  1. I don't know of a case right now, but this decision will apparently destroy a very important tool we now have. With that tool, we have had a chance to get together with others in a suit that might keep other people's hands out of our pockets. But with this decision, parents can take a dollar-for-dollar tax deduction for what they spend to send their kids to a religious school. And who will have to pick up those dollars? The rest of us will, and we can't seek redress through the courts no matter whether we belong to a different religion or no religion at all. Rob James
